PARTICIPANT RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT - I have read and understand and agree to the terms *

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of my participation in equine activities or my presence on the property.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize Returning to Horses personnel to obtain emergency medical treatment for me if deemed necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for all medical expenses incurred.
I understand that Sanctuary Ranch is a working ranch and private residence. I agree to follow all safety instructions, remain in designated areas, and treat horses, equipment, facilities, and other participants with respect,
I understand that riding helmets are recommended but not required. If I choose to wear a helmet, I am responsible for providing my own properly fitted equestrian riding helmet.
If any provision of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect,
I have carefully read this agreement, fully understand its contents, understand that I am giving up substantial legal rights, and sign it freely and voluntarily.
WARNING: UNDER OREGON LAW, ORS 30.687 TO 30.697, AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.
