PROGRAMS
Returning to Horses offers boutique, personalized coaching designed to rebuild confidence, clarity, and partnership from the ground up. Each program is intentionally structured and delivered in a calm, supportive environment where both horse and rider can grow steadily.
1:1 Foundations Coaching
Mobile • Personalized • Progressive
I provide one-on-one mobile coaching within 30 miles of Sisters, Oregon, working with you and your horse in the comfort of your own environment. Keeping learning familiar and low-pressure allows real confidence to develop without unnecessary stress.
Sessions are structured progressively and may include:
• Foundation groundwork
• Communication and emotional regulation
• Rebuilding trust after setbacks
• Addressing specific behavioral challenges
• Preparing for a connected riding season
Each partnership receives thoughtful attention and guided practice between sessions.
What you can Expect
In our work together, you will:
• Develop foundational skills that apply across disciplines
• Learn to look for root causes rather than surface reactions
• Build consistency that strengthens trust
• Gain confidence in both groundwork and riding
• Experience genuine joy in your time with your horse
Horses leave sessions calmer and clearer.
Riders leave feeling capable and steady.
Because becoming a true horseman evolves slowly — and lasts.
Small Group Coaching
At your location
For those who learn well in community, I also offer small-group coaching at your facility.
These sessions are intentionally limited in size to ensure individual attention while fostering shared learning and support.
Ideal for:
• Groups of friends wanting to grow together
• Boarding barns seeking foundational clinics
• Returning riders rebuilding confidence
• Focused groundwork or obstacle sessions
Small groups allow collaborative growth without losing the personalized coaching experience.
Educational & Online Support
Guidance Wherever You Are
For those outside my local area — or for clients who want continued support between sessions — I offer structured educational resources designed to reinforce clarity, confidence, and partnership.
These may include:
• Guided groundwork checklists
• Reflection prompts and journal tools
• Short instructional videos
• Behavior insight breakdowns
• Seasonal preparation guides
• Confidence-building exercises
Returning to Horses is more than in-person coaching — it is an evolving educational space for horsewomen who want to deepen their understanding and grow steadily over time.
The Returning to Horses Learning Circle
(coming soon)
In the near future, I will be offering a small, membership-based learning circle for horsewomen who want consistent guidance and community. This space will include monthly educational content, reflective prompts, and live discussions designed to support your continued growth.
Because horsemanship is not built in a single lesson — it evolves through thoughtful practice and shared experience.
Adaptive & Youth Horsemanship
In Partnership with Heartsong Horsemanship in Sisters, Oregon, I offer inclusive instruction for individuals with intellectual, and emotional disabilities, as well as youth ages 9–16 seeking foundational horsemanship skills in a structured and supportive environment.
Drawing from my former certifications with CHA and NARHA (now PATH), my experience directing youth programs and camps, and my background in Applied Behavior Analysis, these sessions are thoughtfully designed to provide clear structure, emotional safety, and steady skill development.
Programs may focus on:
• Foundational groundwork and riding skills
• Emotional regulation and confidence-building
• Safe horse handling and communication
• Leadership, responsibility, and partnership
• Developing independence and resilience
Horses have an extraordinary ability to support growth, awareness, and connection. These programs honor that potential while maintaining respectful boundaries, clear expectations, and a calm learning environment where every participant can feel capable and supported.
